The Youth Commission conducted the Human Rights Training for this year on 22, 23 November. The first day we organized at Yercaud Parish Hall. 48 youth participated from 13 parishes. In the eve of the day, the participants went around Langlipet and visited 50 families and had an interview with people regarding Human Rights. This field visit enlightened the youth that people are not aware of human rights not even basic rights. But they are interested to know more about it. The participants decided that they would give some awareness programme in their own home places. At night we returned to Salem and the second day class was held in Epiphany Centre. Mr. Mohan, Mr. John Bosco, Fr. Selvam Francis, Fr. Director and 2 youth (Franklin & Mathew) were the resource team. It was surprising experience for them to get to know the basics of laws.
